End of summer
As every year, at the Institute of Electrical Engineering belongs to a social event under the simple designation Zliechov. It is actually a team building of the IEE staff and students, after most of the senior years. During the meeting one morning there is a scientific conference dedicated to the activities of the IEE, especially MEMS structures for the measurement of various physical processes. In the afternoon, there is traditionally a bowling session for all participants with a clearly stated goal: It is not about points but about speed.
Other days
They are mainly dedicated to tourism. There are quite a lot of interesting hills to climb: Strážov, Vápeč, Javorinka, Kľak, … Everyone can choose according to their own strength. And of course you can go on a trip to the village of European importance – Čičmian. And as shown in the following photo to enrich its European significance …
A few grains of wisdom
We survived, we overcame Javorinka, Kľak. We managed to play a cricket-league in bowling. We hit the Čičmian, Fačkovský saddle and back (but only some). Light a fire about to roast some edibles in the form of bacon, sausages and bratwurst. Nobody came or went during these three days, we found everybody in predictable places and so we have to conclude:.
