The world’s most prestigious metrology conference
Our colleagues Ing. Jakub Krchnák, PhD. and Ing. Anatolii Kliuchka participated in the IMEKO conference from 25.8. to 29.8. XXIV World Congress, held this year in CCH – Hamburg, Germany. Almost 800 papers were presented in poster or presentation form, with special guests such as Nobel Prize winners Prof. Stefan Hall (Nobel Prize 2014 in Chemistry for Flourescence Microscopy) and Prof. Klaus von Klitzing (Nobel Prize 1985 in Physics for the discovery of the quantum Hall effect) among the presenters.

The conference was held at the CCH (Congress Center Hamburg), which is one of the most modern centers in Germany.

Ing. Jakub Krchnák, PhD. presented his research on the measurement of large antenna systems, which is currently implemented at the Institute of Electrical Engineering FEI STU BA.

A number of social events were also planned as part of the conference programme, such as a gala reception right in the city hall on the Rathausmarkt.
Other days

The lectures of the special guests as well as the opening ceremony took place in the main conference room of the CCH.


The Gala Dinner was also part of the program, where participants had the opportunity to make new contacts and acquaintances during a sumptuous dinner and an entertaining program.
