- The Electromagnetic Compatibility Laboratory has been operating at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology (FEI STU) for over 30 years
- It has been recognized as a High-tech Center for Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) by the Ministry of Education
- Through the Slovak National Accreditation Service (SNAS), a member of ILAC, it has also obtained international accreditation
- The laboratory functions as an organizational unit of the FEI STU Testing Center and the Institute of Electrical Engineering
HTC-EMC Each year, the High-tech Center for EMC supports approximately 50 different projects across more than 30 development centers and companies in the field of electromagnetic compatibility.
Core Traits and Focus of the Electromagnetic Compatibility Laboratory:
- Final EMC testing in accordance with the scope of accreditation
- Preliminary and non-standard EMC testing for research institutions and commercial entities
- Specialized measurements on-site at client locations (shielded rooms, outdoor measurements, industrial environments, etc.)
- Specialized measurements on-site at client locations (shielded rooms, outdoor measurements, industrial environments, etc.)
- Training activities related to electromagnetic compatibility
- Research activities aimed at refining standard testing methods and developing new methods for testing electrical devices
- Scientific research in high-frequency technology, antennas, electromagnetic fields, and electromagnetic simulations
